Really need to get a ski jacket before Thursday! Don't have much of a budget - prob could stretch to £70 absolute max. Any ideas?

I bought one from Mountain Warehouse.

I bought Ds one from tresspass online. Last time I looked they were having a sale. Or try TK Maax if you have one nearby

trixymalixy · 21/02/2015 20:09

Practically all my skiing stuff is from tkmaxx.

CrispyFB · 21/02/2015 20:25

I've not been able to find any children's ski jackets in TK Maxx for a month or so now, probably because it's past the end of season. But in the autumn it's the best place possible really.

Aldi may have some children's ones left heavily discounted - my local one didn't but they did have adults ones left so it stands to reason there might be some around. Aldi ones are generally considered to be extremely good value for money.

Snow and Rock has a sale on right now with 20% off a lot of things - just got DD1 a lovely Columbia one with great reviews for £60 after the discount.

Trespass and Mountain Warehouse will definitely have some, probably quite discounted.

Have a look on Amazon as there's loads on there often cheaper than regular stores.

iliketea · 21/02/2015 20:30

I got one recently (in the last month) in mountain warehouse £40 or so reduced from allegedly £130. It's warm, waterproof and snow proof.i had looked in trespass, but I found them really expensive, even with the sale discount.

CruCru · 22/02/2015 17:10

For children's ski gear I buy from Muddy Puddles.

hillbilly · 22/02/2015 19:14

TK Maxx have no ski gear left in my local store :-(

Just seen a Vans jacket for £70 which I quite like, otherwise Katmandu have some. No idea what they are like though, quality wise.

Tog 24 are good quality and they've got a sale on atm.

CruCru · 23/02/2015 14:25

Is the jacket for an adult or a child?

WantAnotherHoliday · 24/02/2015 10:34

Try here: www.vikingkids.co.uk

They've got great stuff for kids and some for mums too - a bit hard to find but I saw some in the "adult winter coats" section if you scroll down a bit. They've got a pretty good sale at the moment and seem to still have availability. I've bought from them before and delivery is super quick.

trixymalixy · 24/02/2015 18:49

Dare2b have got some great sale reductions ATM.

hillbilly · 25/02/2015 11:43

Thanks everybody. I eventually bought the Vans one and then after a panic that I had gone style over substance, I also bought a Uniqlo down gillet to go underneath. So, not so bargainous but very layerous Grin
