I am so excited I have been on google street view and planned the route from our apartment to the ski shop and nearest lift. My daughter thinks I might be a bit odd. Am I odd? How excited are you?

Don't worry, I've just got back from my first skiing holiday and I did the exact same thing, as well as watching videos of people at the resort on YouTube!

Have you looked at the resort's webcams?

Every time!! You have to really, don't you?

When you're investing that much money in something you might as well get as much joy out of it as you can!!

And it has a practical use as well as just adding to the excitement. Our first day on our last holiday I knew exactly where everything was right away - no wasted time dragging everyone around with heavy gear.

Hooray glad its not just me! But you're right- its all good time invested as I shall know where everything is. Planning on hitting the slopes as soon as we arrive.
