Sking in Sweden

Can anyone recommend any resorts in Sweden?
We visited my relatives near Gavle last Feb and for the first time ever I fancied trying sking. We're going back again next Feb and thought maybe we could stay for longer and get on those slopes.
I have asked my sil but with a new baby it's not at the top of her list of things to do.

The main one I've heard of is Are(spelling?), but there are bound to be more. Sounds like you need to tke up cross country skiing if you have relatives there, try it, it's really good (and very healthy }.
