Has anyone got a Boden ski jacket (or their DC)?

This is a random question. I have just got a Johnnie B ski jacket in the sale, it was faulty as it had no label and as such dirt cheap. But, my problem is I have no idea how to wash it! If anyone owns or has owned a boden Ski jacket for themselves or their DC, would you let me know how to safely wash it? They don't say on boden website! Thanks, and as you were Brew

My ds has one- wore it for the last two seasons. Don't remember washing it in any special way, I'll try and remember to get it out of storage tomorrow to check.

Usually with ski jackets you can wash them on a gentle wash, but don't use normal detergent. I've used soap flakes or you can get special stuff from shops that sell waterproof clothes. I think you're supposed to use a spray on them after washing so that they are water repellant again, but I've never done that.

Thanks, dh has the special waterproof wash stuff so I can use that but not sure what washing cycle, just a delicate or regular or wool? It has the furry hood so does that go in the machine too?

I always wash them on the most delicate cycle in my machine.

I suppose if the hood is detachable and the fur is just around the edge I would take it off and hand wash it without getting the furry bit wet. Or is the whole hood lined with fur? Does the hood need to be washed or is it ok?

I'm getting out of my depth now, perhaps you should email Boden and check!

I think I will email boden to check. DH says there are a few different waterproofing washing things and which one is recommended for it [clueless] . Thanks for the help though.
