Has anyone been to Obergurgl with Esprit?

Vaguely thinking about going with them next Easter and just wondered if anyone has experience of either of their chalet hotels - Verwall or Alpenblume?

Sorry, can't help with Esprit (although been with parent company Total) but we've been to Hochgurgul next door & it was superb. Snow sure, quiet, organised & great ski school. A short transfer from Innsbruck too.

Yes! Stayed at the Alpenblume. It's not far to the ski school meeting place etc - lifts a bit further but not too bad. We stayed there before they did it up - it looks a lot nicer now. Verwall we haven't stayed at but that's literally right next to the ski school. You can ski back to here too.

Obergurgl is great for kids - not busy etc. The Esprit child care there is/was awesome. If Kara is still in charge of childcare, I'd go there again in a heartbeat.

I think we're going to go back there in Dec.

We stayed at the Alpenblume and it was great. Bigger than the other chalet which we saw when we collected the kids from snow club and the rooms were bigger. When we were there there was someone who had stayed at both and preferred the Alpenblume.

It's a bit further from the slopes ie 20m but is on the snow bus route which was useful as the instructors took the groups on the bus if they were off the nursery slopes especially when the lifts shut due to wind.

Obergurgl is a great resort, good value for money, very child friendly and safe.
