Just found this section on travel and had to post, going to Niederau 1st March, fourth time there with husband and 4 half year old daughter, god so so cant wait !! Happy Skiing all !

Niederau! Our very first ski holiday was there back in 1990. We wanted somewhere prettily alpine in case I did not like skiing. I was 45, DS2 was 18 while we were there, everything was magical, snow perfect, we went on a moonlight sleighride (bet you have too!) and we have been skiing ever since, most recently about a month ago, and have taken DGCs twice, though not to dear old Niederau, though we all remember it so fondly.

Love the place, although Niederau itself not great for advance, now that the link with the new Ski area, Ski Jewel, fantastic for a family skiing holiday, we just love it, have met up with a couple of brilliant families in the past few years, all going 1st March, as gets expensive with children, looking to drive to France and hire a Chalet next year, any tips would be greatful xx
