Is it a good resort to take children to. Can child beginners get off the nursery slope and up the mountain in week one with out using blues that are suspiciously purple?

What ages are your dc?

I don't think it's the best, especially for smaller children.

6 Kids age 7 thro 9. 4 beginners and 2 powder puppy speed demons. Parents range from nervous intermediate to been sking 25 years through tackle anything on piste skiers.

I like the tree lined runs more than big open bowls.

The 2 powder pups learnt at Peisey, which I don;t think is a good beginner resort as the return to the village is very steep and can get very icey. I'd love to take them to Flaine, but the accommodation options don't suit. Went to La Tania this year.

Les Gets is supposed to be very child friendly. We've not stayed there so I can't give first hand advice.

We've been to les gets and I would completely recommend it. There's a fair few nice gentle slopes, plus a kids fun ski area which my 5 year old loved.

We've been twice, but would still go again as there are still areas we didn't get to,
