Cross Country Skiing

So, for the past few years we've gone to Seefeld for our cross country skiing. We're by no means expert, mainly skiing blue and red while there. I guess my problem is that it is getting a bit samey, and I'd like to try somewhere else.

My priorities are - Direct flight from Manchester, relatively short transfer, got to have a minimum of 50km of trails we can do.

Ooh Envy. I love cross country skiing but haven't been since having DCs. We loved Kandersteg in Switzerland and Sjusjoen in Norway. Norway was colder, more remote but masses of pristine trails. Oh, and back then we used skis that needed regular waxing rather than the waxless type (sorry can't remember what the correct name is). Here's a review of Sjusjoen.

Oooo, fantasy holiday planning!! Manchester to Zurich, train to St Moritz and then there are 247km of track at Engadine where you could train on the Marathon course. I think it would cost an arm and a leg, but I bet it would be nice!! (One day!!!)
