newbie question re self catering

I might embarrass myself with this but if we are staying in a self catering appartment, should I expect to have to take duvets/sleeping bags etc or should I expect these to be provided? I know I need to take or hire bed linen.

Any experience of how warm/what the heating in appartments is like?

Almost ready for Friday, last worries now!

I would expect there to be duvets and pillows at least, some places would provide sheets and others would expect you to hire them or bring your own.
