What's it like for a holiday for skiers (from age 5-65!) and non-skiers (65-70).

Is there plenty of good skiing for all levels?

Much of a village/town?

English speaking ski schools?

We have been to la plagne 3 times. It is a great resort for a mixed ability group as you can get a blue/red down from most lifts. If you are good skiers you can ski over to les arcs using the vanoise express. We really like it there and are going back this year as ds2 is 5 and on the cusp of being able to ski with us. We know in la plagne we will be able to take him all around and get him down! Ski school wise there is esf and oxygene who are very good
There isn't much of a village town as it is 10 linked small villages. We always stay in belle plagne and it iso k but not val d'isere!

Thanks, IL's are keen to go away for Christmas but they won't be skiing. They like a good traditional town (they love Morzine), so it sounds like this won't really be up their street.
