family ski holiday at easter

we are two families of 5 wishing to go skiing at easter. any reccomendations. we have seen a nice chalet in morzine but concerned it will be too low and need a place suitable for a non skier

Well Morzine is part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski area, so if it's slushy there you just get on a lift and go up to Avoriaz. Morzine is a nice little town, but for a non-skier I don't know that's there's a ton to do. If he/she is going to require more than a swimming pool and a few shops then perhaps you should head to somewhere near Innsbruck or Salzburg - there are quite a few resorts nearby and your non-skier would be less bored. Or Chamonix - which is a year-round town with a bit more going on.

Obergurgl is very high but not sure if there are chalets or just hotels.
