Tignes for Christmas

Does anyone know how busy it usually gets in resort/lifts etc during Christmas week??

Same as the rest of season if not a bit quieter than Easter certainly!!

We go to Val D'Isere every christmas because it is so quiet and Tignes is part of the Val D'Isere area. You will find accommodation very easily and the restaurants will be empty. It's our favourite time of the year for skiing. The lift system is very good anyway, but there will no no queues at christmas - IMO it's the very best time of year to go (as long as there's snow!)

It's the most wonderful place to ski.
