Looking at saying non to France next season and going to Italy. Anyone been anywhere that worked well for a Brit family? Am particularly interested in any comments on ski2 and Champoluc in general.

thanks!

Cormayeur, Cervinia I like on the left as you look at Italy !!!! The milky way , Sauze d'oux ( ugly town but great ski area- Sestriere , Claviere etc). The Dolomites are far prettier and have generally smaller ski areas......

We went to Selva with Esprit this year and I loved it there (Esprit accommodation not so much - Marta). Loved the scenery. The lift links could have been thought about a bit more but considering there had been very little snow there when we went, 98% of the Dolomiti Superski area was open so very snowsure (even if it is fake).

Went to Livigno two years on the trot a few years ago. Loved it (had a couple of day trips to St Moritz from there which was great too).

I cannot recommend Sauze D'Oulx enough - we went on DS school trip and had an incredible time - beautiful cobbled streets, restaurants and nice bars for us - karaoke and arcade etc for kids. Can't remember which company we used but there were a lot of brits there so should be able to find a tour operator easily.
