going to Flaine in March with DS(5) and DD(2). How many sets of thermals and pairs of socks should I pack for each of them?

Any other tips on what to take?

how long are you going?
will you be able to wash stuff?

2 or 3 . The acommodation is normally warm enough that you could rinse out and dry overnight if needs be but they will probably strip down to thermals indoors. Spare gloves and hat if possible

Take some warm slippers/ shoes to wear indoors. Take snacks and drinks or buy when you get thee so you can keep them fueled up Smile

Going for a week, would have to wash in the sink. I've got 2 sets of thermals each for the kids and two pairs of gloves each. Maybe I should get a 3rd set of thermals for each.

Thermals, tops, fleeces, ski jacket, ski tousers, ski socks, clothes to wear in evening, snow boots, drinks bottle,

DD1 (4.5) managed with two sets and dd2 (1.5) just the one. DD1 had hers on for her dinner a couple of times and kept them relatively clean (a minor miracle).

Unless there is somewhere to dry gloves i would def take spare gloves - dd1's were soaked every day, the boot warmers in the boot room came in handy Grin
