we're clearly feeling brave - but they are 9 and 7 so should be fun - where you go? And is this too brave? Bordering on nuts?

naaah, you will be fine! Go for it.

What do you like in a skiing resort? Let us know and I'll try and come up with some suggestions.... I suppose if I were you my priorities would be ski-in, ski-out, and close to a major airport.

I would yes when mine are a bit older. Where? Probably I'd fly to Geneva and then on to one of the resorts within an hour of there.

We have done short stays in Engelberg , about an hour and a half from Zurich by train. Have they skied before ?

Dh took two of ours to Morzine for a long weekend when they were 7 & 8. Had a great time.

Have just returned from the Alps and the snow conditions are absolutely fantastic so yes definitely go! Suspect accommodation will be the tricky bit but if you can travel low season then hotels etc may be more flexible. Near to Geneva would be good, Morzine is a great option and has it's new swimming pool open this year. Google the Residence Aiglon in Morzine as I have stayed there, the apartments are great and very centrally located. Let me know if you have any other questions.
