Has anyone travelled with Crystal Ski? Any warnings/recommendations?

We're thinking of booking a holiday for the Feb half term (bit late, I know), but not sure who to travel with. Has anyone used Crystal Ski? Was it a good or bad experience? Many thanks, P

We have and had several fab hols. Found them much better than Neilson.

Brilliant, thanks very much. We had a so-so holiday to Mottaret with Neilson, so that's good to know. I've thrown my toys out of the pram re: Esprit - we've been everywhere they go and I'm not keen on going with them again. And don't want to fork out for the Scott Dunn/Powder Byrne league. We've also been to the MW places that we'd like to go to so we're now branching out....

Well we have been with them twice to Val THorens and to Andorra. I think they are pretty standard, no thrills really. The reps were helpful though! Have an amazing time, we are missing out for the second year in a row as had DD in March so very jealous!

Standard, no thrills is OK for me. As long as it's no spills. Esprit have not covered themselves in glory so as far as I'm concerned, so most probably anywhere is up from here. And while a super-luxury Scott-Dunn type afair clearly has its appeal (because I'm delusional), does one really need a 5-course dinner 7 nights a week and posh smellies for the extra £££?

I would say yes but we haven't been on a posh hol for a long time.

Seriously, you don't need posh on a ski hol.

Glad I am not the only one who feels Esprit falls short. We have travelled with them for 4 years and decided this year to go independent as last season's Les Arcs trip was only bearable because we had the chalet to ourselves.....I wonder why >.

DH and I regularly discuss how it should really be done and hope to be in a position to offer our own ski chalet one day.

I have been with them several times, to Les Deux Alps, Pamporovo, Rauris and this winter to Ellmau. They have some brilliant bargains and I have been pleased with what I've had so far. I have on the past been able to book the same accommodation with flights and transfers cheaper but these days they seem to have some much better deals online. I'm not after a luxury break, just good snow, good food with flights and transfers at sensible times.

Thanks very much everyone. We've taken the plunge and booked a week at half-term... Fingers crossed!
