Suggestions for stopover on way to and from Deux Domaines at Belle Plagne with Esprit?

We are thinking of going to Belle Plagne next month. It is 600 miles from Calais and was wondering if someone can suggest a good hotel to stop over on way just for a night with young children - or even somewhere to stay for a few days on the way down/back. The brochure suggests Beaune or Dijon in Burgundy www.espritfamilyadventures.com/SelfDrive.aspx but open to any suggestions. Many thanks

Hi it's a bit further north than Beaune or Dijon but it depends where you are driving from/how far you want to go but we have always stayed in the Ibis Troyes on the way down summer and winter. It is really easy to get to, reasonably priced, has family rooms and a decent breakfast and a secure underground car park. It is very popular with Brits stopping off, virtually all Brits at breakfast! The Novotel is just opposite too, probably slightly more expensive.
