Who are you with, how nuch do you pay and what is your access, if you do not mind me asking.

Mine is due for renewal, was with Staysure, last year.

Not sure if I should rely on the free credit card insurance?

Bumping for you as i'm looking for yearly travel insurance at the moment. I have no idea who to go with or how much cover I need, there's so many. I want as low an excess as possible.

i normally go on moneysupermarket and see what's cheapest. i have used british mountaineering club, which is fantastically good insurance (from a skiing point of view) as it covers just about naywhere below 6000m. it's not really necessary for most skiers though....

Thanks Greygirl

I to would like a lower excess, currently £100, have an option to reduce it to zero but it is expensive. I would like some decent cover so if we are stranded somewhere they will cover me.

Money supermarket do a good cover called Green insurance with an excess of £25, but does not cover delays
