Yes! Yes! Yes! We've been there three times with our two boys, now aged 11 and 7. They were 8 and 4 the first time we went and we would go again if we could manage it financially this year.It is a lovely resort. There is a great nursery slope and lots of great skiing for all abilities. Our eldest is now a very confident skier(Getting to fast for me!). You can also ski over to Italy if you fancy it to increase the amount of pistes available. I am feeling a bit jealous now. I thought I was ok with not skiing this year but now I have a yearning for a mulled wine and a nice freshly pisted run!! Can I come too?

Yes several times - most recently in January, and I expect we wil be going back again soon - maybe a sneaky trip with DS2 @ Easter... Cheaper than other resorts at that height

where do you all stay there? where is good for slope access, childcare etc?
i know lots of people love it. As I understand it is not so good for snowboarders as lots of drag lifts. I have been to la thuile on the other side, which was good but very windy when i was there.

La Ros also very windy. O nly tme i have ever been cold skiing is in La Ros. I prefer the Les Eucherts end, as even quieter than 'downtown' La Ros.

Agree with MrsGrahamBellForTheSkiSeason I was freezing when I was there and have skied a lot of places. Nice going into Italy though and having a Bombadino!!!

I'm going to la Ros this year, my third time there. It's really changed over the years and as this is my first visit in 6 years apparently, I won't recognise the place.
