Gloves or mitts?

We're currently skiing in Canada and finding it a bit chilly on the fingers so invested in a pair of mittens each for OH and DS2..

Wow, what a difference!! Both report fingers are MUCH warmer, so if anyone is about to buy ski gloves ( may be a bit late for this year) I'd ecommend you look at ski mittens , especially if you may be going to Canada or US at any point.

Shame OH bought me a lovely pair of ski gloves for Christmas!

I have been considering mittens as am due for some new gloves. Currently, I wear thin running gloves as liners beneath my regular gloves. It is better than without but I still get cold hands :(

i have a lovely pair of burton mitts with gloves as liners. they were not cheap but they are superduper. (they were a christmas pressie).
i love my mitts, and the liners being gloces is extra good.

gloves (i have no idea what gloces are but they don't sound too warm!)
