Childcare whilst skiing for a five month old

Hi
Can anyone recommend a good company or resort to visit which provides really good child care for babies whilst skiing?
We would love to do some more skiing this season (in Europe) and can take it in turns to look after our LO, but we wouldn't want to go out skiing together unless we were confident of good quality childcare. Our LO will be five/six months old.
Thanks

I'm going with Mark Warner when my son will be 6.5 months. In-house nanny - 2 babies per nanny. Discount available via MN, or big discounts on their website right now for out-of-school-holidays deals!

Hi we also went with Mark Warner with a 9 month old, no problems at all lovely nannies all in house so easy for drop offs ect.

Le Ski in La Tania have a great creche and they def took babies. Our DD was older but all the children who were there seemed happy.

VIP Ski have a 'Baby Specialist' nanny who specialises in looking after babies from 3 months in Val d'Isere (and Morzine/Les Gets too). I think the regular nannies look after 6 months+. They look after LOs in your chalet, and work flexible hours so you aren't tied to 9-5 (or have to worry about getting all your kit on to take them to a creche!)

Hi we travelled with scott dunn last year with our 6 month old daughter. They offer childcare from 4 months old - we stayed in Val d'isere and used their kids club which was excellent. they even had nappies and wipes ready for us when we arrived at the chalet. my friend sent me an email last week about a special offer they are running for families with young kids in off peak dates. Might be worth checking out the scott dunn blog. good luck!

What's the MN Mark Warner discount code? Thanks.

AlpinePony · 20/12/2010 13:08

www.mumsnet.com/Pub?call=com.mumsnet.shopping.DiscountPartnerPage Code is "Mumsnet" for a 5% discount.

However, Ski Club GB do a 10% discount and membership is 62 (?) a year... so may well be cheaper to join Ski Club than use MN discount.

VivaLeBeaver · 20/12/2010 13:25

Mumsnet doesn't seem to work as a code, not sure if its because the holiday is already on special offer.

AlpinePony · 20/12/2010 13:34

I booked mine by phone.

Travel club elite are a travel agent that give discounts on mark Warner. We're members of the ski club of great Britain so would get their discount but normally book mark Warner through travel club elite as their offers are normally the same or slightly better. They're based in the midlands but we've always booked over the phone with them as we're not. Don't know their number but google them and they'll come up.

Have a look at Family Ski

Our friends 6 month old was fine in their creche in Ardent last year, they were fab for all of the kids in our group (6 months - 5 years)
