Hi,

Looking for a pair of snowboots that I can wear in resort but also hopefully get away with with leggins in at home picking up the kids...Any suggestions from those in the know?

Thanks.

Sorel boots pretty unbeatable when it's properly cold. Not cheap but last forever.

i bought some from patagonia, they weren't cheap, they are fabby, but they do look a bit like snow boots. (but i love them and rty to wear them everywhere with jeans).

maybe also long docs?
the guardian had an article on snow boots recently.

Guardian article - they all look a bit too 'outdoorsy' though :(

merrell tempest, puffin or oslo look good and I think Merrell perform well too, very warm.

North Face. Cosy, waterproof and lovely. Really impressed with them, and they've had some damn good snow trials this winter, starting with seeking out sledging sites on Cairngorm, before all the snow happened everywhere else...
