Am keen on this chalet but wondered if anyone had any experience of it-good or bad?

Many thanks!

We've been to St Anton a few years ago. We booked independently and stayed at a lovely little hotel, which was very family friendly. So I can't tell you anything about the chalet, but I can say that we had a great time in St Anton. The local ski school was excellent and the ski area very varied. Also remember the lovely mountain restaurants. It has a bit of reputation of a 'party' place at night though, so be wary of the noise (i.e. the location of the chalet).

Haven't stayed there but walked past it a few weeks ago. It's nowhere near the party scene as it's out beyond the Nasserein lift in a quiet end of town.

It's very slightly downhill to the Nasserein lift and it's not ski-in, ski-out but it shouldn't be more than a 5 minute walk to the lift - more like 3 really. 45 if you've got a whingeing 4 year old carrying their own skis obviously! Wink

hi there, I worked at chalet adler and its a lovely chalet for families. the apartments are very spacious. the childcare facilities are about a 10 minute walk away but it's not too far and the childcare staff walk the children there anyway. it is also only about 2 minutes away from the nasserein chair lift as well and its nearer the end of the resort so you are away from the noise of the nightclubs and revellers but it is stil only a few minutes walk away if you do want to go out!
only downer i can think of is the view...not so picturesque as you are facing the road but it's not noisy at night.
you are also next to the nursery slopes which is handy if you are skiing with children.
myself and the rest of the staff when i was there were (naturally) very good and the food was of high quality but obviously this can change with the staff every year. Generally, Esprit food is good though and we are very thorough with cleaning.
if it is your first ski trip, st anton is quite a hard resort to ski in...however I was a beginner there and it is manageable; there are blue slopes available just be aware that these blue slopes may not be blue in say france!
hope that helps :)
