Prescription goggles

I haven't been skiing for years, and am now in sad position that I need to wear specs all the time. Will I have to fork our for prescription goggles? Back in the 80s I remember preferring to wear ski/ mountaineering sunspecs rather than goggles - would this be a viable alternative for a Christmas ski trip?

Lily I have OTG goggles which fit over my glasses I just went in to the shop and asked for them

This was what I was hoping for! I have embarassed all my family wearing big sunglasses over my specs before I succumbed to a pair of prescription sun specs, so shall see if I can find goggles that will fit my specs.
Thanks!

Yes my Mum has these, you can get them in most decent skiwear shops. They don't look vast and ridiculous on your head either.
