Why do I have to keep signing in?

Don't have this problem anywhere else, is it sunnink to do with cookies?

You can choose to have mumsnet remember you I think.
But yeah I have to sign in constantly. My computer automatically deletes cookies, and I choose not to have it remember me too.
Does seem to be a bit over zealous in how quickly it forgets who you are, bearing in mind we often have to wander away to do mum type stuff!

Hello. You shouldn't have to sign in constantly if you checked the 'remember me' box when you log in.

BUT, occasionally (and quite often at 9.30ish of a morning), the Tech team do "release" a new code - after which you will have to log in to access MN again. But only the once.

OldLady - I thought it was just me. Maybe my computer has a setting that I somehow activated. I keep getting logged out now too.

I know I've had something strange happen when using Opera (so much so that I never use MN with Opera browser now).

What browser were you using ? (I use Firefox and Google Chrome and don't get asked.)
