Anyone else had local listings just disappear?

I've posted local listings regularly for about 6 months and had a couple of minor glitches, but recently two listing I've put on have completely disappeared.

I've reloaded one of them 3 times now and fingers crossed it'll stay put. I've emailed HQ but no update.

I notice that it's possible to delete someone else's listing... I do hope it's something technical instead.

Perhaps a listing should only be delete-able by the creator and MNHQ? Just a thought.

Hello - is the listing you're trying to add something that's permanent or a one-off? If it's permanent, then we are having technie problems at the moment with those sorts of listings, and are on to it.

I've checked my emails and can't see anything from you - when did you email us?

RichmondNCT · 17/06/2010 00:57

Hi it's not a permanent one.

Helen replied to my email last week asking for more info which I gave her but I've not heard anything again.

There are also two identical listings showing for Kidsdance summer course in the Richmond local listings - can one be deleted if they're the same please?

Hi - just checked your site and your listing is showing now. It's only on the local homepage now, which means it may have been in the system all along. The local homepage only displays a certain number of events at any time, so until one thing had finished, it might have been keeping your event off (if that makes sense!).

I'll also delete one of the Kidsdance listings for you, but for future ref, if you click the link which says 'make a correction to this listing' that takes you through to the listing itself so you can delete it.

Hi

I did check the local homepage and it was on there and then it went... and never came back. One event I've reloaded 3 times in the last month and it's only showing once on the system.

I don't think it's a good idea to be able to delete someone else's listing - which is what I think might have happened to mine in the first place as lots of listings much futher away in terms of distance (out of the area sort of distance) and time were showing and mine weren't.

It would be interesting to know if you can tell if a listing has been deleted and by whom... but I'm not massively bothered as long as my listings stay put
