Called Facebook Official Discussion; it just says that it is a private area when you click on it?

Anyone else having this problem?

LoveBeing34 · 15/06/2010 13:33

Maybe testing the new private groups???

PortiaNovmerriment · 15/06/2010 13:34

Oooooooooh, do you think MNHQ are up to something? Is it a secret?

patienceplease · 15/06/2010 13:34

me too - maybe its one of the new private groups - if so, don't like it...

soccerwidow · 15/06/2010 13:40

i like Mumsnet because it is inclusive to all!

Not sure I like the idea of private groups - reminds me too much of my all-girl secondary school & whisperings behind peoples backs!

Bit miffed that i wasnt allowed to join the discussion!

Runningwithscissors · 15/06/2010 13:40

glad it's not just me then

Just coming to post about this.

PortiaNovmerriment · 15/06/2010 13:43

I think this is more likely to just be a mistake, tbh- probably them all talking at MNHQ about what to do about Clare Whatsit or something, you know, office stuff. But a glitch has made it appear on the public page.

Maybe they don't really talk to each other in real life, they just sit at home eating bscuits and typing to each other like we do?

TheJollyPirate · 15/06/2010 13:52

Tis okay folks - think this is the focus group thingie they wwre asking for volunteers for. The volunteers get paid £25 for being in it (I volunteered but didn't get picked). Probably we shouldn't be seeing it - it's not in my active convos.

HelenMumsnet · 15/06/2010 13:58

Hello.

And no, you shouldn't be seeing it.

This is dominant facial hue in the Tech Shed right now:

TheJollyPirate is right that it's a focus group.

And we're working on pulling it from Most Active right now.

So we weren't talking about you behind your backs, honest!

Runningwithscissors · 15/06/2010 15:21

Thanks Helen

Is MNHQ now advocating dangerous activities with household implements, we need to know.

toccatanfudge · 15/06/2010 15:43

omg - I need to get my mind out of the gutter

I totally misread

"This is dominant facial hue in the Tech Shed right now: "

HelenMumsnet · 15/06/2010 15:46

toccatanfudge: but guess that would be true if they hadn't been able to fix it and the "facial" had hit the fan

suitejudyblue: is you 'aving a go at MNHQ's grammar? eh? eh?

suitejudyblue · 15/06/2010 15:49

No, no not grammer police, merely worried about the missing "not", I hope its missing anyway.

Oh excellent, you have introduced the edit post facility - is it on general release ?
