Highlighting the OP's posts

Was just wondering if you could apply the same to normal posts as you do to webchats, where you highlight the posts of the person we are talking to?

Just thought it would make it easier to follow a thread when there are hundreds of posts....not sure if it's possible

You're not the first to ask about this and, yes, actually, we are in the process of seeing if the Techs can come up with this as a Customisation option (ie you can choose to have the OP's posts highlighted - or not).

We'll let you know when we know more...

Can you also have a big flashing sign with 'TROLL' on it for v busy threads in chat?

Oooooh, I've asked for this in the past, as I often end up having to scoot back up to the top of a thread, because I can't remember who the OP was

But wouldn't that be irritating when you have say a conception thread or similar long running thread?

If you have an option to go for it or not Claire you could choose not to use it if you're using any of those "group" threads a lot.

I think it would be especially useful on AIBU, so people don't miss the point where the OP admits they were being unreasonable, only to have more people pile in on her
