Could events be ordered by date rather than distance from location?

Have been adding a pile of events to the Glasgow local area. Viewing all events brings up a list of all events in distance order - with dates not mentioned. This is obviously not very useful. Could we have events in date order (with dates listed)please

This is a good idea! For the events that have a start and end date, we'll look into ordering them by date as an option for displaying them.

Thank you

Yes may I second that please? Although some of the events that appear in my locality are definitely not very local and I don't want mine bumped out for something happening on the other side of the borough because it's a couple of days before my event.

Anyhoo, I came on to post that the dates of the events should have the right days of the week on too. They seem to be 2 days behind - ie Saturday 3rd July is showing as Thursday 1st July.

OK, one more query - any idea why items in Belfast are shown for someone living south of Liverpool.

Postcode here is LL (Llandudno) which stretches from English borders of Cheshire and perhaps Shropshire across to Anglesey.

I can understand it might be deemed an 'adjacent' postcode but the logistics of getting from somewhere like Corwen to Armagh are not 'fun' (I'm assuming LL to BT postcodes would all be treated in similar fashion).

Do people in CF (Cardiff) postal area get notified of things in Cornwall or Devon ?

I get Blackpool (am in Cumbria)

Well at least it doesn't need an air or sea trip to get there

NetworkGuy - where's your local site - we'll look into it. Sounds very strange.
