Any chance that clicking on 'threads I'm on' could also bring up your last post?

As the title says, I find it really frustrating if I leave a fast moving thread then return and click on TIO only to see the most recent 18 messages.

Now, I don't expect it to show every message since mine but what would be really helpful would be my last post at the bottom then the most recent 18.

It's a real PITA to have to click on the bottom one and then scroll down until I find my last post so I can do the thread justice by reading all the subsequent posts.

Does that make sense? So any chance of the posters last post appearing before the most recent 18? Cause sometimes just nipping to the loo can result in 20 or 30 posts on a fast moving thread.

In truth as usual I have no idea if this is even technically possible but I will point someone who does in this direction.

If not possible to have own last post followed by the 18, would it be possible for an option under our own settings whereas instead of the last 18 you can opt for it just to bring up your own last post maybe with number of subsequent posts next to it in brackets. Does that make sense?

why 18 ? why not 25 or 50 ?

If there's a way, please consider making it a settable figure.

I'm not actually bothered that it only shows the last 18. As long as I can easily find mine.
I just want to be able to find my own last post so I can pick up where I left off.

Any thoughts on this yet?
