I'm confused.

There is one poster, who I have presumed is a regular poster "in disguise" having some fun, and have been answering her posts accordingly. Is there any way I can find out if this is the case, or do I just have to go on presuming.

Obviously I don't want to out the poster, (although someone already has),and I realise MN can't confirm a name change....

But what if the poster who I think is having a bit of fun is a genuine person in her own right, as many posters obviously believe?

Someone has already outed her? So I assume its a fairly obvious play on her regular name? If so then she's obviously not in hiding, so just ask.

I think...

she posts a alot under her "other" anme, with a whle different persona, which I "think" is made up...as no one could be that ridiculous and pompus...or could they? .

Someone sort of outed her a while back, by saying "it's you Colditz, isn't it!" or something similar. But it might not be Colditz or Coldtits or what ever she calls herself today...it might be a totally differant person.

But this "invented" person adds an extra dimension to MN, and I don't want her to leave, so don't want to out her.

Or maybe she's not invented.

some posters have 2 personas- one for PMT weeks!
The ones I'm thinking of are quite open about both their identities though.

BeautifullyScreaming I don't want them to go either, which is why I can't say anything, but as long as one other person knows what I'm on about then that proves I'm not going mad.

Infact I would love to meet her in RL...even a bit of a profile would be funny nice.

This is utterly weird... but I have just come across another poster who has 2 personas... just found them on an old thread I was reading, but it's definitely them.
