Pagination - can we get rid of it?

I thought something was going to be done about it. I know I can get rid of it with personal settings but I don't want to log in every time I browse, iyswim.

Thanks.

You log out

But some people love it, and it makes MN load far more quickly, especially on phones etc. I prefer one long page myself, but it's a bit unreasonable to insist on it for other users, don't you think?

I generally tick "keep me logged in" on my own laptop, phone, and even DP's computer, so I rarely have to log in.

Don't you find Active Convos unbearably tedious with all the pushchair threads and wotnot if you don't want to log in and activate your preferences?

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 15:33

god no, the pages let it load soooooo much quicker - especially for the bigger threads.

Also that you log out - there is an option so you dont have to log in everytime...

jalopy - if you don't want to read MN in pages, you need to go to Customise, scroll down to 'Other options' and then select Unlimited as your drop-down option for number of 'Messages per page'

Thanks Helen. I've already customised it. Was hoping that pagination didn't exist in the un-logged-in mode, like the good old days.

Yup, sorry, jalopy - you do need to be logged in.

It's something to do with Google stats.
