fishie · 18/02/2010 21:00

why do you need to deregister disenchanted (and presumably for the fourth time eek)?

couldn't you just log out and pretend? much easier.

LowLevelWhingeing · 18/02/2010 21:00

you can't

Disenchanted3 · 18/02/2010 21:02

for the fourth time?

lol, i can't trust myself to just log out,

looked in mymumsnet but couldn't see.

you'll have to come back as disenchanted4

BitOfFun · 18/02/2010 21:03

I'm sure it's easy enough and someone can help, but did you know you can also block MN from your computer?

Select Tools, then Internet Options, then Content, and type in mumsnet.com and click Never...

It will be like we don't exist! I'd have to do this, or I'd be tempted to keep peeking.

If you take this route instead of de-regging, then you can come back when you are ready and still have your mumsnet ID.

hth.

Disenchanted3 · 18/02/2010 21:07

thanks bof, i may do that

BoF No! really?

Oh dear, I'm going to have to adopt this strategy for meeting deadlines

Hello, Disenchanted3.

If you de-register , you'll will lose your nickname for ever.

But, if you'd really like a break, you can ask us to "ban" you for a bit. Then, when you're ready to come back, we can unban you and you get to keep your name.

Let us know ([email protected]) if you'd like a temporary ban.
