Advanced search option

Hello

Can we please please have an advanced search option. I often use MN to have a look through old threads to see posts/questions/answers that might help me but the search seems to bring up so many responses.

An advanced search, so you can search for words together, in certain sections, date etc etc.

This would be great, thanks!

where it says Mumsnat talk in bold, go along that line and it is highlighted in purple on my screen

Ok, I have just seen it. But it does appear to be in a silly place, nowhere near the general search option and when you do a general search no options for filtering it, via an advanced search comes up.
