Just a suggestion, but Site Stuff used to be for notices about site downtime and such like. Now it has a lot of advertising stuff -- Fairy is Fifty; secrets of a happy relationship; tell us why car retailers should pay to advertise here, etc

Would it be possible to have all the advertorial stuff in another section -- products or promotions or some such? So that we can hide if we feel a bit about it?

Yep good idea - we've amended the title of Product Tests to Product Tests/ Feedback and we'll house those type threads there.
