Why not its a brilliant film ! I loved it. Have you actually seen it ?

As mum to a mixed race princess obsessed dd I am bloody delighted every time I see the princess and the frog advertising. She is beside herself that there is finally a princess that looks like her!

What's it about? Other than a princess and a frog?

Strong willed girl who is hardworking and does not believe you get what you want from wishing on a star. You have to work hard to get what you want so she does several jobs to save up for her own restaurant. Along the way meets a prince who was turned into a frog kisses him to try and turn him back into a prince - she isn't a princess so turns into a frog and has to find a way to get turned back. If anything it is a bit anti men becasue the prince is a bit hopeless.

At no point does she do any pole dancing or act like a total wet wimpy stupid head.

i think it looks great, i'm happier that there will be a more modern interpretation of those stories, anything to get sleeping beauty off the menu.
