Ahem. The lentil weaving Moon information is not correct...

It says last full moon on 2nd Dec 09. WRONG!!! There were in fact 2 full moons in December, the last being New Years Eve 31 December, and therefore a Blue Moon, which will not repeated for 350 years. A rare occurance, and one which was left unnoticed by MNHQ.

So now, I am all lost and have to leave the MN site to google the info

yes there was an eclipse too, and it might have even been on 31st too! See, MN did not update us with this info...how very slack for the 'lentilweavers'!

just googled - yes a partial eclipse on 31 Dec. I did not see it, was busy being a milking cow for DS!

piratecat - you are right about the next one falling on 31 Dec being in 2028. My friend was wrong (i shall tell her she has it wrong, she will argue it mind!). AND, it will be total lunar eclipse too!
