Nooooooooo to spell check

That would automatically lead to tickers.............

Anyway I like my judgey knickers

BertieBotts · 09/01/2010 15:57

You can get a spell checker on firefox or Chrome - you are obviously using the wrong browser

Firefox is the best because you can refresh the page when halfway through typing a message and it doesn't delete it all.

juneybean · 09/01/2010 15:59

ROFL best not to make a typo in your OP teehee!

LynetteScavo · 09/01/2010 16:26

OK...I'm going over to firefox...where exactly is the spell check?

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 09/01/2010 16:27

Nooooooo.... not unless it was a special MN spellchecker that recognised words like fanjo and norks

Heated · 09/01/2010 16:30

My google bar has a spell checker.

I would like to be able to set up a poll on baby-names and maybe AIBU.

LynetteScavo · 09/01/2010 16:35

Ha! I've just installed it! How exciting!

You learn something new every day!

Emoticon isn't in the dictionary, BTW!

I used Firefox and have just checked and the "check spelling as I type" is ticked - yet it never picks up typos/spelling mistakes

BertieBotts · 09/01/2010 16:37

You can add words to your own dictionary though - unlike when you have a website with a spell checker of its own.

prettybird · 09/01/2010 16:37

I use Firefox

BertieBotts · 09/01/2010 16:38

How strange prettybird. Right-click in the typing box and check that "Check Spelling in this area" is ticked.

BertieBotts · 09/01/2010 16:39

Sorry that was an X-post, I was replying to Lynette.

LynetteScavo · 09/01/2010 16:40

Pretty bird...I went to tools, add-ons, extensions, then added the British dictionary.

It was very easy, and now all my mistakes are underlined in red dots.
