Reducing Photos for Members Profile.....

....Could someone perhaps post instructions on how to do this? I know there are a few MN'ers that will do it for us if you email them (eg SaintGeorge).

But wouldn't it be more efficient if there was something we could all refer to to do it ourselves?

I have lots of photos in Kodak Easy Share. I've converted them to PDF, JPEG and BMP, but still can't get them below 60kb.

So how do I do it? What software is best to use?

ditto, I keep trying but they look really bad when I reduce them that far - I seem to be able to reduce the quality but not the physical size if that makes any sense?

It's very frustrating.

Various software.

Picasa is good, but I have so many photos I find it takes forever to load, good if you want to do a lot of organising though.

For quick results I use Irfanview .
