none of us know when we should call the police about day to day crapola that happens - i've just read the fast lady in lane thread, historically read the eggs thrown at conservatory thread and numerous 'my gate is banging in the wind but it could be a burglar threads. could we get a straight talking, honest, police bod to come and tell us about the reality of calling up you local station and asking for help and the realities of getting it? also would love for them to see how unsure the public are about wasting police time and the knocl on effect this has on reporting crime.

a good idea?

Thanks

Oooh a man in uniform to set us straight, fab idea, could helive here all the time?

Great for the 'Dp only smokes a bit of pot, but not round the kids, that's ok isn't it?' threads and the 'I think 85mph is legal on the motorway, everyone else does it'

Not to mention grapes in the supermarket and 'The baby nicked a DVD from Tesco's do I need to take it back?'

Everything would be so much clearer coming form a man of the law.
