At the risk of upsetting big tech anyone care to help?

Cant higlight poster's names in the info bar at top of page. I want to c&p into search or text of message and all i get is the expanded name box and it wont highlight. My spelling is carp and i need to be able to do this to reduce offending people with name mispelling.

Don't worry about getting names wrong, just abbreviate.

Nope i can at most get one letter and nothing else unless i copy other bits of the bar. tis annoying.

what are you running browser wise and are you new or classic?

If it is someone's name with a profile (i.e. underlined) it is a tad trickier as you have t avid clicking on the link. A bit of tricksy mousework should solve it.

I am using Classic though so it might be different in New?

New and Firefox

Mn is very odd at mo. It is now working (on here at least) but now It is telling me i have to previous profiles but no way to updating either to this name or viewing them.

Hi DEM - which browser are you using?

IE 8 with new mn style. Havent been able to get it to work for a while and now lost the new expanded name banner boxes and can highlight again.

I am assuming you have one of the techs chained to the server until mn is fixed (in a rotational manner) and they are putting bits right which accounts for it suddenly changing
