"Mumsnet have been known to ban members for discussing other sites just for mentioning the names of any given websites"
And other bits of it don't seem right

I would update it but have no idea how

No, look at the grammar, it has clearly been edited by huns!

I have a sneaking suspicion that the deleting/banning bit was added by a person who posted recently on the SN board advertising their own site. Usually no-one minds but this particular one said things on their home page about there being no other forums on the internet for children with SN.

The poster kept spamming and re-posting the link every time MN deleted it.

Could just be a coincidence but I doubt it.

Oh my God....what a load of tosh. Now couldn't we have a few threads/a thread and people offer a different version?

Snort.

That did make me laugh.

PerryPlatypus · 08/11/2009 11:37

The SN spammer

Notice how by coincidence they also mention how much they like Netmums too.

cornsilkwearscorsets · 08/11/2009 11:43

Someone's been norty! Remember when it was changed to include that bit about Rhubarb and Custy on it? That was very funny!

NormaStanleyFletcher · 08/11/2009 11:45

I have a christmas appeal to run (last day for nominations and donations today) so I don't have time to muck around trying to learn how Wiki works.

Can anyone here sort it out?

Now look.... has it improved, sorry about grammar but dc4 has decided to moan endlessly and I can't quite think straight. Feel free to rewrite.

cornsilkwearscorsets · 08/11/2009 11:47

you need to add in a biscuit section posie.

"The average Mumsnetter has an intelligence and wit not common on other parenting forums. The kindness and solidarity shown to those in need is truly awe inspiring."

Love it

Thanks for spotting this - and getting rid of it!

posieparker · 08/11/2009 15:23

[posie rolls under table and peers carefully over]
