i have a 32month old boy who refuses to poo at all. when he feels he needs to go he will cross his legs and hold it in causing tiny amounts to leak out causing severe nappy rash. he can do this for days till i make him do it by holding his legs apart. i dont know what else to do to make him go. we had started toilet trainning but now he refuses to even use the potty.

Wrong section, can't remember if there is a specific potty training section, probably is.

If it has been going on a while and he is constipated, take him to see your family doctor who can check that there is no medical reason for it, plus may perscribe medication to unblock.
