i thought you meant so we could nip into it for a quick one without polluting other people's threads.

smoking2shoes · 10/10/2009 21:47

well it could be for that
we could discuss what is the best way to roll a fag

mwff · 10/10/2009 21:47

could it have a covered area for when it's raining?

mwff · 10/10/2009 21:48

argue over the virtues of different brands of cigarette papers.

WartoScreamo · 10/10/2009 21:52

I am seriously thinking about giving up on Monday. Really seriously vs the I am 40 really should type of thing.....

I love fags though. And wine. Trouble is so does my dad. And aged 60 he is an alcoholic diabetic who can no longer climb the stairs. There is a lesson there sonmewhere.....

mwff · 10/10/2009 21:57

smoking2shoes · 10/10/2009 22:43

I am better at giving up than you. I give up every evening, so ner.

lyndysue · 10/10/2009 22:56

I miss smoking soooo much. I gave up 8 years ago but God, do I miss it. I miss being able to just casually light up when I've got a drink and stare at the stars pondering life (used to have to smoke out of the kitchen door as DH hated it).

Gave up because it was the sensible thing to do. Much healthier now but God, do I miss it!!

Ronaldinhio · 10/10/2009 22:57

I really miss smoking. Not the smell, or the toxic feeling but the symbolic signal that the day has ended.

I gave up smoking when pregnant with DS1 but started briefly when he was about 9 months, just because I wanted some ritual after he had gone to bed to signify that the day was done.

I gave up before TTC DS2 but I still miss it. Virtual smoking sounds like a plan

Can we have a virtual smoking shed please, it would be nice, we could chat.

Actually I suppose that is what Mumsnet is isn't it

smoking2shoes · 10/10/2009 23:03

would heated bean bags be good for piles|??

I'm feeling all smug as I haven't had one for 24 hours! Ner, ner, ner! Or wine either for that matter!

(Actually I feel dreadful, can't concentrate, and am not sure how I am going to make it through the rest of the day!)

I think it is time to go and buy chocolate!

Tee2072 · 13/10/2009 11:57

I haven't had a cig for nearly a year and I swear I miss it at least once a day....

theDeadPirateRoberts · 14/10/2009 13:30

Can I insist on no gas-powered patio heaters please? I may be a smoker but I am still Ecological
