A question about when threads are too big...it might not even be possible, but....

On long running threads where no-one on the thread has noticed it's about to run out, is it possible to have the option of posting a link to the new thread when the "This thread is too long" message appears....

..akin to "This thread is too long to accept messages; would you like to add a link to a new thread?" It would make life soooo much easier

As we are forever forgetting on our PN thread!

just a thought; probably isn't even possible.

and as a wee random aside; why do some threads stop at 1001, some at 1002, and others at 1003? It seems totally random.

or in "Threads I'm on" the link appears red, so you aren't just sitting there, not clicking and thinking "it's quiet round here" and know immediately to go off looking for a new thread?

Thanks for the suggestion, LatinDAISYcal - we'll ask the Techs how easy it would be to do that.

lol at witty thread title generator, TheBatterflyEffect
