after the discussion about whether it was permissible to swear on mumsnet how about a few "smilies" for those of who who don't want to swear but feel like a page full of angries?

what would they look like? Polite eyes but gritted teeth? a finger wagging vigourously?

Personally,I think swearing should be avoided in thread titles but permissable (with asterisks) in the posts.

how about purple (with rage) and exploding in all directions
