"Redirecting at" thing again for links....

EachPeachPearMum · 29/07/2009 20:36

this time it won't let me open links in new tabs, only in new windows, which I do NOT want to do.
I am using safari on a macbook if that makes any difference.
Their site was down yesterday too, so the link wouldn't work anyway [grr]

Oh dear, that sounds most odd.

Things seem to be working OK from this end, though

If it's still messing you about tomorrow, do let us know

SausageRocket · 29/07/2009 20:44

it is happening to me too, using XP on a normal laptop.

EachPeachPearMum · 29/07/2009 21:07

Yay! I'm not mad

sorry SR

Is it still happening today, EachPeach and SausageRocket?

EachPeachPearMum · 30/07/2009 14:39

Yes, it is...

Mine is too. It takes quite a while for links to load and it says 'redirecting at' at the top of the new window while it loads.

janeite · 30/07/2009 14:43

Mine's doing that too. Thought it was just me!

SausageRocket · 30/07/2009 14:44

yup still doing it for me too

Uriel · 30/07/2009 14:45

Yep, me too.

HelenMumsnet · 30/07/2009 15:22

OK, guys, we're trying to get to the bottom of this for you.

Is it happening site-wise? So, when you click on Talk threads or the MN Latest box, say?

Or is it only happening when you click on external link - say, to a discount partner?

AnarchyAunt · 30/07/2009 15:42

Only external links - but all the links posted in threads as well, so BBC news etc.

HelenMumsnet · 30/07/2009 15:51

Thank you - that's helpful. On the case...
