right as always we have had some squabbling óver where this years christmas meet will be.
if you are hoping to attend please couldyou indicate below by adding your name to either the Birmingham or London list.
if you could attend either then please put your name on both lists.

basically, whichever list has the most people thats where it will be held.

And for thosewho will complain that its still only june, christmas bookings for large parties like this are needed to be booked well in advance so we need to have at least the basics of which city we are using.

that's why i've voted Brum- cheaper hotels, travelodge do rooms for £19!

I'd love to come along if that's ok? Am willing to travel from Scotland so am not overly fussed on location. Can I ask a few questions though.......

What date are you thinking of?
Can you bring partners or is it frowned upon?
What time will it be on till? (I'm up for going out afterwards if it finishes early)

look - I've posted this on the other thread but I'll do it here as well.

Perhaps it's time to admit that there is never going to be just "one" "MN Christmas meet"

Last year I seem to recall that the Birmingham one was viewed as the "unofficial" meet - why don't we just say

"ok there's going to be a meet in London for the Southerners (aka known as those that are too delicate to travel north )., on in the Midlands for anyone that's willing to travel there and finds it easier (and cheaper) and one in Scotland for those Scottish ones that don't want to travel down into the Midlands at all".

I think as long as MNHQ either sticky and newsletter both or neither, then it doesn't make it official. That was what people got arsey about. Tis all their fault.

that would be a much better compromise - if they could all (I seem to recall the Scottish MNers also organised a big one too??) be stickied then they would all be seen as equal.

Although if there's a choice between Birmingham and London (ie one organised in each) then I would probably still choose Birmingham over London due to hotel costs . (presuming finances actually allow me to attend either of them in the first place).
