Is anyone elses screen jumping about all over the place?

It's just been jumping all over the place when I've logged on today.

Only for Mn, no other sites.

I scrolled down to see the page and it jumps back up, happens anytime I click.....anything on here.

I've not been lurking as much as I used to so don't know if it a new, rather annoying MN thing, my PC freaking out or all these stupid long threads f*cking things up.

No, mine is fine Emma!

anchovies · 19/05/2005 20:44

I don't think a long thread title could cause that kind of problem tbh.

No probs here either.

morningpaper · 19/05/2005 20:45

Mine is but I think I've developed a nervous tick from being shouted at in another thread...

Actually emma now you mention it I've had the cutting-off-letters thing a few times today and I've had to refresh the screen - not noticed it before.

flashingnose · 19/05/2005 20:47

Mine's doing the same emmatmg

Yes and it's been bugging me all day.

sunchowder · 19/05/2005 20:49

Must be the Mumsnet server being affected by all the negative energy!!!!

tamum · 19/05/2005 20:52

Yes, mine too emmatmg, exactly as you described.

emmatmg · 19/05/2005 20:52

I swear it those bloody long threads.....it's never done before i logged on today.

can we blame that annoying thread anyway just cos it's annoying?

LeTech · 20/05/2005 16:13

Hi all

Anyone still getting this can you post your symptoms. We're having a look at this end but nothing obvious leaps out. Fairly sure its not linked to the long post titles

Sorry for the hassles, hopefully back to normal soon

WigWamBam · 20/05/2005 16:18

It's cutting the tops of whole lines, or missing the lines out altogether. The scroll bar at the side of the screen keeps moving up and down on its own and flashing, and when I click Active Conversations I keep getting ones from hours ago too.

anchovies · 20/05/2005 16:20

I'm getting lines cut off at the top too

KBear · 20/05/2005 16:23

No probs here

Tinker · 20/05/2005 16:25

My screen is jumping and getting lines cut off as well.

LIZS · 20/05/2005 16:29

Me too with cut off lines and the blue shaded bar on IE changes from dark to light blue irregularly.

tamum · 20/05/2005 17:02

Another one with lines cut off and display suddenly jumping a line or two. It also coincided with the start of the Disneyland ad FWIW.

lima · 20/05/2005 17:04

mine just started jumping - it's an epidemic

PuffTheMagicDragon · 20/05/2005 18:03

same probs as wigwambam

LeTech · 20/05/2005 18:38

Sorry to be a pain, are you all using Internet Explorer and if so do you know what version?
(To find out click the Help Menu then click "About Internet Explorer").

I think it may be a "version thing" as we techies like to say when its Microsofts fault

lima · 20/05/2005 18:40

not me LeTech - Firefox

noddyholder · 20/05/2005 18:41
