How can I find an "old" thread, well from 2 days ago, that has fallen off the list??

I have tried searching but am getting so many hits I'll be here til the end of the week.
Any tech advice appreciated, ta!

HAve you narrowed down the dates on advanced search? A combo of your name and a couple of words you know are in the thread plus the date you originally posted should work for you.

Search for a word/poster and limit it to a 3 day bracket using the dates on the search facility? choose the topic to search in?

What was it about? I bet we can find it!
